Main-Franconian is a group of Germanic dialects spoken in the German state of Hesse. It is also spoken in the German-speaking Community of Belgium, in the Eupen-Malmedy area of Belgium, and in the Moselle department of France. It is spoken by about four million people.

The Hessian dialects are the most widely spoken. They are spoken in the western and central part of Hesse, in the Rhine-Main area, and in the northern part of the state of Hesse.
The Rhine Franconian dialects are spoken in the Rhine-Main area, in the Eupen-Malmedy area of Belgium, and in the Moselle department of France.
The Moselle Franconian dialects are spoken in the Moselle department of France.
