Blin, also known as the Buin language, is a West Chadic language spoken in northern Cameroon. It is closely related to the Hausa language. Blin is written in a Latin-based alphabet.
Blin has three dialects: Eastern, Western, and Southern. The Eastern dialect is spoken in the Mayo-Kebbi East Region, the Western dialect is spoken in the Mayo-Kebbi West Region, and the Southern dialect is spoken in the Logone Occidental Region.
The Blin language is spoken by approximately 1.2 million people.
