Sudanese Pound (1957–1998)

SDP is the currency of the Republic of South Sudan. It was introduced on 18 July 2011, replacing the Sudanese pound at a rate of 1 SDP = 100 Sudanese pounds. The SDP is subdivided into 100 piasters. The Bank of South Sudan is the central bank of the Republic of South Sudan.
