Carian

Carian is a beautiful, flowing script perfect for invitations, greeting cards, and other short messages. While it may look complicated, it's actually quite easy to write in Carian once you get the hang of it. Follow these simple steps and you'll be writing like a pro in no time! 1. Start by drawing a line for the baseline of your text. This will be the line that all of your letters sit on. 2. Next, draw a line about halfway up from the baseline. This will be the line that your ascenders (letters that go above the line, like "h" and "b") will reach to. 3. Now draw a line at the very top of the paper. This will be the line that your descenders (letters that go below the line, like "g" and "y") will reach to. 4. To start writing, simply pick a letter and draw it on the baseline. Make sure that all of the strokes for the letter start on the left side and go to the right. 5. Connect your letters together using the guidelines you've drawn. Remember, the ascenders and descenders will help you to know how to connect each letter. 6. That's it! With a little practice, you'll be writing in Carian like a pro.
