Moroccan Arabic

Moroccan Arabic, or Darija, is the native language of Morocco. It is a variety of Arabic that is spoken by about 22 million people in the country. Darija is a spoken language that uses a lot of French and Spanish words. It is also influenced by Berber, Andalusian Arabic and Standard Arabic. The Moroccan Arabic alphabet is based on the Latin alphabet and has 28 letters. Darija is not the only language spoken in Morocco. French is also widely used, especially in business and government. In addition, there are about three million Berber speakers in the country.
