Solomon Islands Dollar

SBD is the currency of the Solomon Islands. It is pegged to the Australian dollar at a rate of 1 SBD = 1 AUD. The Solomon Islands dollar was introduced in 1977, replacing the Australian dollar. The SBD is divided into 100 cents. There are coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 cents, and notes of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 SBD.
