Malian Franc

The MLF is the currency of the Melanesian Spearhead Group, an intergovernmental organisation in the South Pacific. The Melanesian Spearhead Group is comprised of the four Melanesian states of Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia. The organisation was established in 1983 and has its secretariat in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The MLF is pegged to the Australian dollar at a rate of 1 MLF = 0.48 AUD.
