Macedonian Denar (1992–1993)

MKN is the currency of the Republic of Macedonia. It is divided into 100 denari and is subdivided into stotinki. The name is derived from the old Macedonian denar. The MKN was introduced on April 26, 1992, replacing the 1990 denar at a rate of 1 MKN = 100 denari. The MKN is pegged to the euro at a rate of 1 EUR = 61.48 MKN.
