Tirhuta

Tirhuta is a script used for writing the Maithili language. It is also used to write the Bhojpuri and Magadhi languages. The script is derived from the Brahmi script and is thought to have been used in the 8th century CE. The Tirhuta script is written from left to right and has 52 letters.
