Georgian (Mkhedruli and Mtavruli)

Mkhedruli is the most common script used to write Georgian, while Mtavruli is used for titles, headings and other special occasions. The Georgian alphabet has 33 letters, of which three are vowels and the rest are consonants. The alphabet is mostly phonetic, which means that if you know how to pronounce a letter, you also know how to pronounce the sound it represents. There are some exceptions to this rule, however. For example, the letter ლ (l) is pronounced like an English l, but when it appears at the beginning of a word, it is pronounced like an English r. The Georgian alphabet is written from left to right and there are no upper or lower case letters. Each letter has its own unique shape, which helps to distinguish it from other letters. When writing in Georgian, you should always use a pencil or a pen with black ink. Avoid using red ink, as this is considered to be bad luck. Georgian script is relatively simple to learn and there are plenty of resources available online to help you get started. Once you've mastered the basics, you'll be able to write in Georgian with confidence.
