Sango, also known as Tokoyo, is a creole language spoken in the Central African Republic. It is the national language of the country, and is also spoken in parts of Cameroon, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Gabon. Sango is a mix of African and French influences, with about 80% of its vocabulary being of French origin. It is estimated that there are about 4 million speakers of Sango worldwide.
