Bakhtiari

Bakhtiari is a Southwestern Iranian language spoken in the Bakhtiari region of Iran. It is closely related to Luri and Persian. Bakhtiari has two dialects, Haft Lang and Chahar Lang. The Bakhtiari dialects are spoken in the Bakhtiari region of Iran, which is located in the southwest of the country. The region is bounded by the provinces of Khuzestan and Lorestan to the east, Isfahan to the north, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad to the west. The Bakhtiari dialects are also spoken in the cities of Shahr-e Kord and Borujerd, which are located in the province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. The Bakhtiari dialects are mutually intelligible with Persian and Luri. Bakhtiari is an official language in Iran and is used in education, media, and government. The Bakhtiari dialects are written in the Persian alphabet.
