Tunisian Dinar

The Tunisian Dinar is the official currency of Tunisia. It is subdivided into 1000 millimes. The dinar was introduced in 1960, replacing the French franc. The dinar did not follow the devaluations of the French franc in 1958 and 1962. However, since 2005, it has been pegged to a basket of currencies including the Euro and the US Dollar. The Tunisian Dinar is one of the least valued currencies in the world.
