Dylan is a High-Level, Multi-Paradigm, Functional and Object-Oriented programming language. Dylan was developed by Apple Inc. in the early 1990s. It was designed to be a "better" programming language than C++ and to be more "object-oriented" than Smalltalk. Dylan is a very powerful programming language, but it is also very complex. It is not recommended for beginners. Dylan has been used to create a number of commercial software applications, including the Adobe Creative Suite, the Mac OS X operating system, and the Firefox web browser.
