Ceylon

Ceylon is a language for writing large programs in teams. It is designed to be readable and writeable by humans, and to be easy to refactor and maintain. Ceylon has strong static typing and a unique type system that supports structural typing and higher-order functions. The language is also equipped with an intuitive and safe module system. Ceylon is compiled to efficient JVM bytecode and JavaScript. Ceylon is an open source project, sponsored by Red Hat.
