Uyghur

Uyghur is a Turkic language spoken in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. It is one of the official languages of the region and is also spoken in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Uyghur is written in the Arabic script and has a rich literary tradition. The Uyghur people have a long history in the Xinjiang region, and their language has been influenced by both the Chinese and the Turkic languages.
