Yorick is a high-level interpreted programming language written by David H. Munro. It is named after the character Yorick in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Yorick is designed to be an easy to use language for scientific computing and includes an interactive interpreter. It has an extensive math and statistics library and can be easily extended with C or Fortran code. Yorick is free software released under the GNU General Public License.
