DIBOL, which stands for Digital Integrated Business Oriented Language, is a high-level programming language created in the 1960s. It was originally designed for use in the business world, and was one of the first languages to be able to run on multiple platforms. DIBOL is a very concise language, and is easy to learn for those with little to no programming experience. It is also one of the fastest languages to execute, making it ideal for time-sensitive applications. Despite its many positive features, DIBOL has largely fallen out of favor in recent years, due in part to the rise of newer, more popular languages such as Java and Python. Nevertheless, it remains an important part of the history of programming, and continues to be used by some businesses today.
