HAScript is a programming language created by IBM. It is a high-level, object-oriented language that is designed to be easy to learn and use. HAScript is based on the Java programming language and runs on the IBM JVM (Java Virtual Machine). HAScript programs can be written in either the HAScript or Java programming languages. HAScript was created to provide a simpler alternative to the Java programming language. HAScript is a statically typed language, which means that variables must be declared before they can be used. HAScript also supports multiple inheritance, meaning that a class can inherit from more than one parent class. HAScript programs are compiled to bytecode, which can be run on any platform that supports the JVM. HAScript is a platform-independent language, which means that programs written in HAScript can be run on any operating system that supports the JVM. HAScript is an open source programming language. The HAScript compiler and runtime are available under the Apache License 2.0. The HAScript source code is available on GitHub.
