CPL (Combined Programming Language) was a programming language developed in the early 1960s by Martin Richards at the University of Cambridge.
It was one of the first languages to support structured programming, and was also one of the first to be implemented on a computer.
CPL was influential in the development of other languages, including Pascal and C++.
