Mexican Investment Unit

The MXV is the currency of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is subdivided into 100 centavos and is equal to one tenth of a Mexican peso. The MXV was introduced in 2016, replacing the Mexican peso in the state of Veracruz. The MXV is not legal tender outside of Veracruz, but can be exchanged for Mexican pesos on a 1:1 basis.
