Liberia is a country located on the west coast of Africa. The country is bordered by Sierra Leone to the west, Guinea to the north, and Ivory Coast to the east. The climate in Liberia is tropical with a wet and dry season. The wet season lasts from May to October while the dry season lasts from November to April. Liberia experiences two types of rainfall: the first is a heavy rainfall that occurs between June and August and the second is a lighter rainfall that occurs between September and November. The economy of Liberia is largely dependent on agriculture. The country produces rubber, coffee, cocoa, rice, and timber. Liberia also has significant reserves of iron ore.
