Modula-2 is a programming language that was originally developed by Niklaus Wirth in 1977. It is a successor to the language Wirth created earlier, called Modula. The main difference between the two languages is that Modula-2 adds support for data types, procedures, and other features that are necessary for structured programming. While Modula-2 is not as widely used as some other programming languages, it has been influential in the development of other languages. For example, the Ada programming language was based on Modula-2. If you are interested in learning Modula-2, there are a few resources available online. The Modula-2 Foundation offers a free online course that covers the basics of the language.
