Scilab

Scilab is a free and open source programming language for numerical computation providing a powerful computing environment for engineering and scientific applications. Scilab is developed by researchers from INRIA (the French National Institute for computer science and applied mathematics) and ENPC (Ecole des Ponts et Chaussées). Scilab is an interactive system with a high-level programming language providing a powerful computing environment for engineering and scientific applications. The Scilab team is composed of about twenty researchers and engineers working on the development and the maintenance of the software. The team is located in Grenoble (France) and in Sophia Antipolis (France).
