Logtalk is a declarative, object-oriented, multi-paradigm programming language that supports active objects and roles. It has been influenced by several programming languages, most notably Prolog, Smalltalk, and Python. Logtalk is used in a wide range of applications, from knowledge representation and artificial intelligence to software engineering, education, and entertainment. The language has a small core and standard library. The core language is implemented in less than 200 lines of code and the standard library in less than 500 lines of code. Logtalk is free and open source software released under the GNU Lesser General Public License.
