Tyap (also known as Tap) is a language spoken by the Tyap people of Nigeria. It is a member of the Chadic language family, and is closely related to Hausa. Tyap has three dialects, which are all mutually intelligible. The Tyap alphabet is based on the Latin alphabet, and contains 26 letters.
