Slovak Koruna

SKK is the currency of Slovakia. It is divided into 100 haliers and is subdivided into 100 subunits called haliers. The name "SKK" is derived from the Slovakian words for "crown" and "crowns". The first Slovakian koruna was introduced in 1919, replacing the Austro-Hungarian krone. The Slovakian koruna was replaced by the euro in 2009.
