Libyan Dinar

The Libyan Dinar is the official currency of Libya. It is divided into 100 dirhams and is subdivided into 1000 fils. The dinar was introduced in 1973, replacing the Libyan pound. The dinar is pegged to the US Dollar at a rate of 1 US$ = 1.41 LYD.
