XOTcl (pronounced exo-tick-ull) is a scripting language that combines features of both Tcl and OO languages such as C++ and Java. It was developed by Gustaf Neumann and Uwe Zdun at the Vienna University of Technology. XOTcl is an object-oriented extension to Tcl, providing a powerful object system with a wide range of features. It supports multiple inheritance, mixins, exception handling, and more. XOTcl is also very portable, running on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and more.
